The club is having 2 BBQ fundraiser days at Werribee Safeway. Oct.31^st. & Dec. 19^th. There is a list in the club rooms to volunteer time to assist on these days. Any queries contact Jenny Dean 0412 163 545

World Series Baseball

The Baseball World Series starts on Thursday Oct. 29. This is baseball’s grand final, & is played as the best of 7 game series. The series is between the Phillies Vs Yankees. Games will be on Foxtel. Details on the Major League Baseball link below: http://mlb.mlb.com/index.jsp

There is not a full fixture out yet, it will be out in the next few weeks.

All game scores must be phoned into Baseball Victoria

Baseball Victoria is continuing to use the score line that was set up last year.
This is the best way to ensure that the weekend scores are published in the Monday paper. The phone number for the phone line is (03) 9517 7523, for all competitions. Scores have to be submitted within 30 minutes of the games conclusion.

Summer Junior summer training

Junior summer training for u12’s, & u14’s is on Tuesdays nights, between 5-7pm. U16’s & U18’s is between 6-8pm. We still require players for the u12, u14, & u16 age groups. Contact Mark Riches 0417 537 621

Teeball season

2009 /10 teeball season has started on Wednesday nights, between 5.30 & 7pm. 2 age groups - U7 & over 7 .  If you know anyone who wishes to play contact Geoff Stafford  0419 358 308

Greg Buzza has opened batting cages in Werribee

The new “Iron Mike” machine has arrived. This machine throws 300 strikes per 1/2hour. The special Oct rate of $18 per ½ hour. The hitting lanes are at the rear of economy glass at 417 Old Geelong Rd Hoppers Crossing, the premises is called mobile crane refinishers.   Trading hours: 8 am - 5.30pm mon to fri, after hours are available, booking is essential. Sat. & Sun sessions will be available at a later date. Call Greg 9369-5403, or 0409 130 671 .

Senior Men’s summer training.

Senior Men’s summer training is on Tuesday, and Thursday nights at 6pm.  If you know someone who may be interested in playing baseball or require further details, contact coach Earl Byrne 0409 336 915.
